Mumbai tops on ROI factor
The city that tops on high Return on Investment (ROI) is Mumbai with 22% respondents opting for it. Possessing a house or apartment in Mumbai is considered a not just a matter of pride among home buyers but also a dream. Investment in a city like Mumbai is sure to earn good returns in no time. Property prices in posh localities like Bandra, Andheri, Goregaon, etc. are soaring yet there is a high demand for property in these areas. Investors are also seen to have shifted their focus to the suburban Mumbai - Navi Mumbai and Thane in the last five years.
Delhi NCR tops in the category of superior in infrastructure, planning and development with 19% opting for it. Delhi has seen major infrastructural developments over the past few years, which has led to the entry of many MNCs and corporate bodies from all over the world. Information technology, BPOs and other IT Services are among the growing industries in Delhi. Delhi has a made life in Delhi easy with improved infrastructure with new roads, flyovers, bridges, healthcare facilities, sanitation, etc.
Bangalore and Hyderabad top in the category of good population density. They have organised and planned societies and townships which have decongested the area so well. They are also clean and planned cities.
Respondents believe Mumbai offers great employment opportunities in commercial and corporate sector, 19% chose the city in this category. Mumbai is known as the financial capital of India. It offers great employment opportunities irrespective of all economic sectors. Mumbai job market not only provides plentiful job opportunities but is equally competent in nature.
Chandigarh tops in the category of ‘Green and Clean’ with 17% of the survey takers selecting it. The union territory that serves as the capital of Punjab and Haryana, has made remarkable progress in terms of planning, sanitation, waste management and maintaining greenery. The city is divided beautifully into various sectors and is a well maintained city since its conception.
Pune and Jaipur are chosen as ideal destinations for a second investment with 16% respondents choosing them. Both are believed to be happy go lucky cities, with minimal crime rates an ideal ROI options. Pune is known as an educational hub, and since quality labour is available many corporates are moving in and setting up their base, whereas Jaipur is known for its tourism and handicrafts.
