Spain king arrives today

King of Spain Juan Carlos I will be on a state visit to India from
October 24-27, the ministry of external affairs said on Tuesday.
He will visit Mumbai and Delhi during the course of his visit. He will call on the president, Pranab Mukherjee who will host a state banquet in his honour. Also, delegation-level talks are expected to take place between prime minister Manmohan Singh and the King of Spain. “The king will be accompanied by a high-level ministerial, official and business delegation from Spain,” MEA said. |
