Readymade rangolis for the busy bees

Readymade rangolis for the busy bees

Before Diwali, we start redoing our decor, preparing sweets, lighting up our homes with colourful lights and buying new clothes and jewellery. We take out time for the plethora of rituals associated with the festival. Making rangoli is one such ritual. In fact, it is an important part of the celebrations. Rangoli is considered to be the symbol of prosperity, good luck, and according to certain religious beliefs, an invitation to God to visit our homes.
However, making rangolis is a tedious task, particularly for working women. For such women, who find it very difficult to take out time to make rangolis but still want to give that traditional touch to their Diwali celebrations, the market is flooded with options like assembled rangoli, thermocol rangoli and folded rangoli in various designs and colours. Assembled rangoli is made on designed ply or thermocol and is decorated using stones of various shapes and colours. These rangolis give an elegant look to your home with a range of bright and beautiful designs.
Folded rangoli is made using wood. It is foldable and can be used for home decorations. Owners of VS creations and Aayushi creations, which make these assembled and folded rangolis, say, “We make these rangolis to help women who do not have time or do not know how to make them. As these rangolis are reusable they can be used anytime to enhance the beauty of your home.”
Mulund resident Kalpana Nakade who buys readymade rangoli, says, “As I am low on time, I prefer buying these rangolis. These are very beautiful and can be used for decorating homes also.”
